This session we'll build some networks and link them togther using a mixture of hubs, switches and routers.  We'll review the basic protocols that let computers communicate over IP networks including ARP, DHCP, DNS and so and and use software like tcpdump to watch network traffic.

If you have a spare hub, router, switch and/or some spare network cables bring them along and we'll see how complex a network we can build!
